Today's painting: finished. I discovered after I'd set up that the spot I'd chosen is also a popular drag-racing venue. By popular, I mean that one guy was racing around and around the block for an hour and a half. Which wasn't disconcerting at all.
Now: pack up painting gear and finish biking to Chicago (about 40 miles, I think).

Glad to hear you've had a good painting day after experiencing the dark side of the human race so early in your adventure ("wanting" ? your camera etc). Love to follow your travels... onward!!
